This was a great post, SC, thanks!
I had to print it up, but I also have a question. Is it just me, or did you go from #4 to #6 when you posted the links? Where was #5?

4 to 6? I took a look, because I tend to screw up links sometimes due to a marked decline in my eyesight.

While I believe it's entirely the stuff of myth, one of my favorite legends is that George III's diary entry for July 4, 1776 was, "Nothing interesting happened this day."
Would be great if true.

That would make you, probably, one of the oldest posters on this forum.

And was it me? Did I miss #5? I’m thinking it probably doesn’t matter if all the information is there that you wanted to include, but I was just curious.
My eyesight needs help, too. I need to get the cataract lased in my right eye. It was actually removed, but it seems “scar tissue” or some such has begun to impede my vision again. I can’t get it done until winter (cooler weather) because the doc only does this stuff on Wednesday afternoons, and the desert is hot this time of year. My old truck has no A/C (never installed) and the engine will overheat on the way home.

Sounds about right -- it wouldn't have been of interest to that Hanoverian douchebucket.
