Womens’ sports are suffering the double-whammy of loss of mens’ big sport revenue and a SCOTUS ruling that will allow confused men to play.

Very true. Liberalism always ruins everything.

The In-State OOC rivalry games MUST be played at all costs. UF-fsu, Kentucky-Louisville, UGA-Ga Tech, South Carolina-Clemson. There’s no reason not to play those games. The opponents are each closer than just about any conference opponents so there’s little risk of spreading the virus to places that do not have outbreaks.

I think the SEC and the other Power 5 conferences are looking for flexibility to reschedule if a team is hit hard by COVID19. The other issue is the Group of 5 and FCS school do not have the money to do the type of testing the Power 5 will do.

My opinion is if you can’t fund your football team without help, maybe you shouldn’t have one. Lots of schools don’t have a football team.

“The In-State OOC rivalry games MUST be played at all costs”

Unless they’re required by state statute to play each other, they don’t have to be played at all.

"How will college football make money with out fans in the stands?"
TV ad revenue? Probably more than food/beverage sales, few employees on site to be paid and I doubt the colleges will be refunding annual ticket holders ...

My Gators are going to beat the hell out of fsu if that game is played. Ergo it MUST be played. I don’t care if half the planet drops dead as a result. Some things are more important than mere life or death.
