That's not social distancing!
Good video!!
Hilarious!
Heres how to deal with Karens and mask bullcrap
Just tie a bandanna around your neck, dont even put it on your face and then walk into the store
Act like youre in the old west and give him that kind of attitude like you have a six shooter at your side and spurs on your boots
This is how we take back America from the Karens
Give them the old west!
There is not an official male version of Karen but we have them even on Freepland.
Chad is the usual name given for a male Karen.
On another thread a week or so ago, someone asked why there was no name for the male version of the “Karen” meme.
I suggested “Jonathan,” based on my knowledge of Marxist media activists masquerading as journalists — Jonathan Karl and Jonathan Chait come to mind at once.
In fairness, that was before I caught an interview on Youtube with Sebastian Gorka’s ex-Navy Seal pal Jonathan Gilliam. A genuinely tough man, in all the best ways, he comes across more like a Mike or a Joe or a Nick.
I might also note that I always found Karen to be a perfectly innocuous female name.
If I had created the “Karen” meme, I probably would have called her “Nancy,” for obvious reasons.
There is a certain karma about names. One of my hobbies is onomastics, the branch of linguistics that studies name origins and meanings. I’m 62 and have been dabbling with this since I was a teenager. Some of my erstwhile friends think I’m a bit eccentric as a result. But at least it’s a lot cheaper than golf.
I’d sure like to read other FRiends’ thoughts on this subject.
I am VERY concerned about the Murder Hornets. I carry a can of wasp spray with me to protect me at all times.
If Karen violates my social distancing space? Can I spray her to protect me and my family?
A “Chad” with a poser beard and a go-pro glued to his forehead makes fun of a “Karen”. Okay.
How about DICK??
Dick.
Who needs Karens since we have Dannys ?
I know a couple of Jonathans including my son! He is a conservative! So are the others!!
You obviously brought your son up right, FRiend.
My image of “Dick” is a guy in his upper 60s or older who likes to golf a lot. An old-fashioned name to be sure, but basically innocuous.
Of course, this is all just intellectual fun and games, with no correct or incorrect answers. But I do hope you understand my fascination with names.
I still prefer the name asshole for these kind of people.
Thank you.
He is pretty sharp on politics and loves military history.
Any particular period of military history?
My thing is World War One, although I read a lot about 20th century history in general.
Keep encouraging your boy’s scholarly interests.
