Scientists have discovered a coronavirus mutation that is of 'urgent concern' because it makes the virus more contagious and has already become dominant in the places it's reached - including part of the US.
Researchers at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico say that the mutant strain started spreading in early February in Europe.
It has since made its way to the US, where it became the most common - and aggressive - strain on the East Coast by March, and the scientists say its now the world-dominating strain.
In their report, which hasn't been peer-reviewed but was posted to BioRxiv, the researchers warn that the vaccines currently in development across the US may not be effective against this mutant strain and urge that their discovery needs to be considered in further work on coronavirus treatments and shots.

And it’s....Tuesday.
;)
That doesn't square with what worldometers says. The number of infecctions throughout much of Europe have been decreasing over the last several weeks. Even in Italy.

Exactamundo!
I’ve noticed over the years an uptick in “new study shows...” types of headlines.
In other words, Goebbels was right: people are sheeple.

Pitt researcher who was studying coronavirus was victim in Ross murder-suicide
“Bing was on the verge of making very significant findings toward understanding the cellular mechanisms that underlie SARS-CoV-2 infection and the cellular basis of the following complications,” the statement read in part.
Oh wow, I hope you do find something in your research that gives you an edge. What about any nutritional thing like vitamins d and k or?? I admit to knowing nothing about thalessimia.
That virus is the Kung Flu, able to kick a$$ like Bruce Lee.
As I read it, the Chinese-made chimera graft to the spike was to enhance the ACE2 affinity. But maybe your hypothesis will bear out too.
#12. Brian Williams, Mutant Ninja Journalistic Virus!
When would they have received it?
The reason people should be looking at my disorder and several others is due to the fact that they think a malaria drug...for a parasite.. may work with wuhan...and these disorders developed in evolution due to malaria.
One italian study of covid patients with it led to interesting results but sample size very small
But not all people can create equal amounts of anti-bodies. Those who are younger, and those who exercise regularly, and those who eat nutritious food, and those who dont smoke or drink more than 1 drink a day, or those who get enough sleep every day, can create sufficient anti-bodies to vanquish most invading viruses, INCLUDING COVID-19.
The importance of our own bodys immunity and how to strengthen it is what we should be hearing from the media over and over. Unfortunately, I dont hear this from any media.
As long as Americans eat a diet of processed food, especially junk food, theres not much hope that those people will have a very strong immune system. Telling people to stay indoors in a totally disinfected environment, where there is very little likelihood of exercise and certainly no fresh air or natural vitamin D, is also harmful.
Many people seem to have bought into the idea that they can live very unhealthy lives, even be obese as are 36% of all American adults, and then a pill or a medical procedure will save them. COVID-19 is probably here to stay for a long time. Each person needs to do the best possible he can to build up his own immune system.
If your health is otherwise good, the disease, covid, if you get it, might not be as bad as you would think since you already are used to lower blood oxygen issues. You could probably tolerate lower o2 absorption levels caused by the virus with just a little o2 support and perhaps a unit of blood. Someone like me with a good robust red cell count would have quite a bit of a crash with covid since I would not have lived long periods of time with low red counts and low po2 counts and then having much higher levels of damaged and exposed heme molecules that act like a suffocating poison in the body then you would have contended with.
God has us carry crosses but it is surprising sometimes how he makes our burdens lite and how things compensate even for those who have weaker frames.
Still, I don’t know all the troubles you’ve lived with and if I have spoken glibly and out of turn concerning your personal life, I ask your forgiveness.
