Map dated: 03/28/20
The data for this map was pulled from:
https://github.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/tree/master/csse_covid_19_data/csse_covid_19_daily_reports
I am validating data by comparing it with other sources:
https://covidtracking.com/data/
https://infection2020.com/
https://coronavirus.1point3acres.com/en
as well as various state .gov websites
I was beginning to worry that the data may be skewed by the availability of testing and the factors that determined if a test was needed. After looking at state data where the number of positive results and the number of hospitalizations as compared to the number of tests performed remains fairly constant, I feel like this is still a valid representation of the situation.
Previous post links are no longer valid. Image file names are now in the format of mmddyy.png where a valid link for example should now point to http://7LStv.com/covid19/032820.png where the date of this map would be 03/28/2020.
No claims of the use or accuracy of these maps is implied.

Your map of the CommieViris is coincidental to high populations of democRATS.
Almost looks like the pro-Hillary voting pattern from 2016
I do find you map well done and useful. Thanks for keeping it up.
Not to mention sanctuary cities, counties and states.
Good job.
Great work. You deserve public recognition.
Sanctuary cities = people living 12 in a one bedroom apartment.
How can social distancing possibly work?
Common factor: Major cities with airports that serve international destinations.
O.K. I hit FB with it.
These are really interesting.
A movie file with them all linked together would be scary.
Thanks.
I’ve done it. Very distressing. I need to find a place to post it where they can take the hit on bandwidth. I don’t like facebook.
It stands to reason that high density, large populations would have a greater number of cases.
Thanks...please keep posting new ones!
The regions in red will likely turn blue before this is over. Much of lower Florida will likely turn fully blue in April.
Are your maps based on cumulative cases or current active cases? I am assuming these are cumulative data. I have yet to see anyone map recovery taking effect in any part of the world. All I see is the downside, but even now we see a drop off in active cases occurring in Europe in the raw numbers, and it will happen here as well. Not sure if there is sufficient reliable data to map that. It would make people feel better though if they could better visualize this virus burning itself out.
Cumulative.
The problem gathering data from the other is for example a given area has 8000 tested of those 120 test positive. Of those testing positive, 12 are hospitalized. The remaining 108 are sent home to recover and are lost track of, at least for the time being. Eventually we will have a better picture of what happened.
For some good news, it’s too soon to say for sure but I think I might see the beginning of a leveling out in the data from WA state.
