Vanity- City of Houston Lockdown?

Posted on 03/19/2020 6:38:29 PM PDT by Jaded

Has anyone heard any rumblings about a lock down in Houston? I just got a phone call from my sister who has a job affiliated with the Fed. They were given "travelling" papers, if you will, earlier this week just in case. Tonight they were told to keep that letter with them at all times. I've seen the letter.

I know it sounds paranoid, but I was asked about a lock down from someone at work.

It reminds me of this line: The Baroness: You're far away. Where are you?

Captain von Trapp: In a world that's disappearing, I'm afraid.

Depending on which precincts you might be better off traveling to a different state.

“”I’ve seen the letter.””

Try to get a copy of it and post it online so we can make our own personal get-out-of-jail=free letters

Not just Houston. We are going on nationwide lockdown per a document I saw recently.

How can there be a lockdown when you tell us that traveling papers are being issued? In other words, baloney.

I don’t think they’ll shut down the refinery/chemical plant money machine. That takes time and can have explosive side-effects.

My company issued all employees a travel letter yesterday with instructions to print it out and carry it with us

States activate lock downs. The Fed. Admin. does not.

Situations differ around the country and the Governors are better at making decisions for their States than the POTUS or a bunch of bureaucrats in the Fed. Admin.

Sadly, too many Governors have not jerked the leash on some of the lame-brained Mayors. ...Cuomo in NY finally did that to Communist Mayor DeBlasio of NYC a couple of days ago.

I just looked through the Houston articles for posting on the CV thread. Didn’t see anything of a lockdown. That said, they do need one.

Another guy collapsed in church and everyone rushed to his aide. There will be more cases from that all because he couldn’t stay home.
