We are gratified by the Supreme Court ruling on Friday night lifting the final remaining injunction on the public charge regulation. As a result, the Department of Homeland Security will be able to implement its regulation on Monday. This final rule will protect hardworking American taxpayers, safeguard welfare programs for truly needy Americans, reduce the Federal deficit, and re-establish the fundamental legal principle that newcomers to our society should be financially self-reliant and not dependent on the largess of United States taxpayers.

So theoretically, CA is now prepared to defy actions potentially taken by the Federal gov (Department of Homeland Security) as early as Monday.

Get a Constitutional amendment passed throwing California out of the US before The Big One hits.

Okay Barr. It’s time to s*** or get off the pot. Arrest the Cal AG. He is committing a Federal Offense. If you cave to him you will lose all credibilty.

Here in California, a lot of us desperately wish that most California politicians would be arrested and sent to prison.

Heck, I'm starting to feel like California IS a prison. Or maybe a Gulag.

An open air prison. Where the convicts can steal $900 of stuff per theft and nothing, NOTHING happens to them.

California is a rogue state. Oregon and Washington are not far behind. All three of those states are filled with a significant vocal and violent minority population and like-minded politicians.

I believe our President is well aware of this and will ramp up the pressure on California slowly during the course of this year, until after the election and will then drop the hammer on California.

With situations like this I’m glad that Trump is president.

We wouldn’t have a situation like this is Trump wasn’t president.

No one else would enforce the rule of law.

There may yet be mini hot civil wars occurring in the future.

I don’t see police and other local or state law enforcement risking their lives or life in prison shooting at Feds though.

Xavier Becerra - with a name like that, and with the agenda he's pushing, you have to wonder where his loyalties lie. Or maybe you don't.

“Get a Constitutional amendment passed throwing California out of the US...”

No. Repeal the Enabling Act that made them a State and turn the area into a Territory.

You have identified “1” of the major problems in California.

I am a California employer

It is against state law for me to:

Let ICE onto the property witout a warrant

Let ICE review employee records without a subpoena

Use E-verify

Not accept the California driver’s license which states non-citizen status for the I-9 process

Have men or women indicated on the business rest room doors

Must provide a lactation facility

Address my employees by the pronoun of their choice

All of the items on your list are BS, of course, but this one is the most tyrannical. It is a law literally dictating to you how you must speak. It is no different than a law which requires you to call the color red "blue" or call a watermelon a "basketball".

In the English language, a person with a penis and testicles is a man, and the corresponding pronouns are he/him/his. This law decides to change the very meaning of all those words, including "man" and force you only to speak using the new definitions. It is Orwell's 1984 being played out in real time. It is the grossest violation of the concept of Freedom of Speech because it dictates the very words you are allowed to use.

There is no way this law holds up in a sane American court (something whose existence we can no longer take for granted), but the very passage of this law is a subversion of the USA in the most fundamental way possible, and should be viewed exactly the same as a law which states that California is now part of communist China.

I’ve been saying for a long time, Trump has a real problem on his hands with California. It’s a rogue state overtaken by racist hispanics who believe it’s there land. I know it when I see it. It’s the inconvenient truth. They hate white America. We have to reclaim it in no uncertain terms. We are a nation of laws.

Interesting to see how or if it can be done. At least one flank is protected by the ocean.

It would be nice to not just imagine a stopper being pulled out at the bottom of the state, a check valve being pulled in and then have the drovers start at the top and drive the insurrectionists out at the bottom.

Maybe then the prune pickers would leave Texas and go back where they came from.
