I agree! Non-essentials, luxury, entertainment or “ fun” items, trade is fine. But essentials as you listed and also raw materials for those things such as oil, steel, coal etc, we need to be independent.

I switched over to vaping a while back. It's been known for quite sometime that propylene glycol (an incrediant in vaping liquid) has this effect.

Asian markets will be closed a week (maybe more now) for New Year.
Very convenient for China. I think it had some influence on the timing of their actions.

Interesting that they are fining people for driving.
Another report said gas stations weren’t operating.
Probably trying to save fuel for emergency vehicles and workers.
Also thought it was interesting that the hospital was closed, but might open later.

There's not but a couple of anti-viral drugs out there. And I think I read that the flu drugs won't help against this.

So they are just treating symptoms. Anti-inflammatories probably help with breathing.
