Gotta ask again. If the VP was assigned to be point man for foreign policy re Ukraine and then his son gets an unusually lucrative position in that country based on nothing but family connection, wouldn't that obviously be a corrupt conflict of interest?

How about if the same thing happens in other countries, say China, for instance?

If said corrupt VP now wants to be president of the U.S. wouldn't it be in our national interest to investigate this?

Jim, just from a Securities and Exchange Commission why hasn't the FED investigated this? Why does Martha Stewart go to jail for insider trading and investiated by James Come of all people and Hunter Biden makes millions from the Barishma Board that is corrupt and no Federal Investigation?

Makes you wonder how corrupt the FBI, DOJ, State Department, and how much the Hillary crime syndicate controls these entities to his day.

I pray everyday for God to deliver justice on these people!

No need for an investigation, play the video where he admits it, send to the jury.

Come on Jim you know the answer just as well as we do. Yes, if you are a Republican, no if you are a Democrat, and especially if you are running for the office of President.

Of course. Stop asking rational, logical questions.

I think we’ll find that the practice of giving foreign aid to a country and having that country kick back lucrative jobs to family and friends of politicians who arranged the foreign aid goes beyond the Biden family and Ukraine.

We already know about Romney’s relative, Pelosi’s son, Kerry’s stepson, and that’s just with Ukraine!

Someone should look into every congressman, and cabinet member, their families and friends to see what they have for bank accounts here and there. Could this be why L Graham is saying “heck no, we don’t need witnesses or investigations!”

At the very least, it’s a classic example of the ethical concept of “the appearance of impropriety”.

In a sane world it would be. But when some one can say, “It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.” and get away with a crime, there is no sanity...

This question is common sense.

It needs to be repeated along with the playing of Biden’s quid pro quo threat to withhold a billion dollars if they don’t fire the prosecutor investigating his son.

That alone should win Trump’s case, and much public opinion.

Y’know if these idiot democrats keep pushing for witnesses, this trial could suddenly turn into a real fireworks show.

I still want to know how Biden was or is now Trump’s political opponent. The DNC hasn’t announced his opponent and won’t until July.

Yes it is.

If you want to know what liberals are doing - listen to what they claim conservatives are doing.

It is call projection.

And then that VP threats to withhold $1 billion in US aid unless the Prosecutor, investigating the company his son is being paid by, is fired.

Don’t belive it? Watch for yourself

You know, what is actually even more disturbing and worrisome for the USA than Joe Biden coercing the firing of the Ukraine Prosecutor General, is that Biden apparently has no self-awareness of his wrongdoing in the past and no governor on his mouth.

If something comes into his head, on the spur-of-the-moment, that might benefit him momentarily, regardless of what damage it might do elsewhere, it spews out his mouth. For example in this case, he was being queried about how his Vice-Presidential experience translated into being good a good foreign affairs negotiator. The first thing he came up with was the to show what a great negotiator he was, was the blackmailing of Ukraine to fire their equivalent of their Attorney General to get a Billion Dollars in Loan Guarantees while they were under invasion by the Russians and grabbing Crimea. Say what?! International blackmail?!

That is NOT what a potential future President should be exposing in a public venue about how the United States conducts foreign negotiations with an ally who is under attack by an invader. Really, the firing of a possibly corrupt internal public official is more important to the security of the US and the region than one billion dollars in military aid? You’ve got to be kidding. What kind of messaging does that give to all of our other allies?

Even if such tactics were sanctioned at the highest levels and approved by the other allies, which I highly doubt, they should remain classified, not spouted before reporters in front of video cameras! What else might a foot-in-mouth Biden un-artfully reveal that should be kept inside the vest the next time a reporter asks a carefully crafted question? The man is a walking, talking disaster area.
