My understanding is he will lose much of the ducal monies with the streamlining of the royal family when the Queen retires. William will manage his allowance. Apparently Harry knew this so I suspect this may have a bunch to do with their falling out. From what I read he still has millions from Diana but he has been burning through that and has gotten millions from Charles. His security alone will exceed $1 million per year. With the lose of the HRH he will have to pay for some of that. They are in Canada because the USA will not pay for any of their security.
