When cell phone connectivity goes completely dead in HK, and reporters are rounded up and detained, that will be the tell that China’s next killing field to preserve their socialist paradise has started.

One of the reasons police have targeted CUHK is servers that can communicate without ChiCom oversight.
This is strategic on both sides.
