A sick thug told a four-year-old girl in a wheelchair she was a "drain on society" and shouldn't be alive.
Little Quinn Ross was left "traumatised" after the shameless lout approached her, her mum Emma and ten-year-old brother Alex in an alleyway.
Emma, 32, managed to push the man away and police in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, are now investigating the hate crime .
"The man was yelling in her face, saying she shouldn’t have been born, she was a drain on the NHS, a drain on society and that I should have had her aborted if I’d known she was going to be disabled," mum-of-four Emma said.
"It was appalling.
"I pushed him away, power-walked off to school and it was the school who phoned the police."
Quinn has Perthes' disease, a rare childhood condition which affects the hip. It makes it painful for her to walk.
The sickening abuse has left Quinn "scared of men" and she is now having counselling.

Of course she’s a “drain on the NHS.”
This is the worst problem imo with socialized medicine. Your health and life becomes everyone’s business, and to be honest it IS their money you are spending. Ban French fries cause it’s costing us money to care for the obese. Ban extreme sports. Ban high heeled shoes. Ban smoking, or drinking, or hey now, homosexual activity. Ban so many pregnancies. Etc.
If you are paying for your own insurance it’s a voluntary pool and no one has a high horse to ride.
But if you are forced into paying through the nose for everybody it is actually your business.
Socialized medicine is evil.

1. The room full of prosthetics from the disabled that were executed.
2. Even worse, the rooms filled with the shoes of the 30,000 children that were executed there.

Where did you read this nonsense? Everything I have read the NHS is trying to get people to eat right, stop smoking and be more preventative in their healthcare.

I believe that the key identifier of civilization is that we protect and care for our weakest members, those who cannot protect themselves. If we do not do that, we are no different than animals. Sadly, the beasts among us are slowly eroding that bedrock value of our society, to the point where a monster like this feels empowered and safe in berating little girls in public, wishing them dead and feeling self righteous about doing it.
She was advocating for people with health problems, complications from their lifestyle choices, to be charged more for their private healthcare.
Perthes disease, otherwise known as Legg-Calve-Perthe disease is a childhood condition, not a birth defect. The blood supply to the ball of the femur is compromised and the bone necroses and flattens. The treatment is supportive with nonweight bearing. In the majority of cases after a 2 year or greater course the child recovers. The younger the child the less the chance of hip arthritis in later life.

People have to “butch up”. YES, even (especially) ill/handicapped (yes, THERE I said it! HANDICAPPED!) 5 year olds.
This time it was some “Aqualung” type figure, next time it will be some blue haired perfumed ladies talking as if they can’t be heard, about the “poor child” and all the health care dollars wasted on her instead of paying for their varicose vein surgery.
Hate, envy, jealousy, are human traits caused by SIN in the world.
You can’t legislate or punish it out of existence. A punch in the face or kick to the groin (only if no one is watching), would be good.
Also bring back “shaming”. It’s not “hate speech” or bullying if they have it coming.
Grow a pair! Stick up for YOURSELF! (and for your family).

Empathy dies in a soulless society whose only regard is personal pleasure and greed. All values just become part of the calculus...if it doesn’t benefit me why should I have to pay(?). (And, there are many on this site who already justify worth by such terms.)
Not contradicting your point, but as an aside: how likely is it that the bastard who screamed at a suffering child has paid any taxes other than VAT on cheap liquor? My guess is that he has cost more public funds (welfare, trial, incarceration, his own healthcare) than the child’s treatment.

It really is stunning how cruel some can be.
Years ago I was talking with my new boss at my first “real” job after college. She saw a picture of my youngest brother on my desk and I briefly explained that he was adopted and the difficulty of his Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. She replied, “And that’s why I believe in a woman’s right to choose.”
I think the stunned look on my face made her realize that she had just told me the world would be better off if my brother were dead. She quickly began going over my duties and responsibilities.
In the US, it would be incumbent on a nearby adult to give this nutbag menacing a disabled four year old a profound thumping.
The cops would probably support you in this, even if they felt obligated to at least arrest you. In jail, most of the other prisoners would probably support you in this as well.
A leftist DA and judge might try you with prejudice, but I would like to think that most jurors would not just acquit you, but buy you a beer later.
