Once the Astros win, we hope President Trump invites the Astros to the White House and holds a parade for the Astros through Washington, DC, sort of like a big finger to those fans in Washington DC who booed him, right after Al Bhagdadi was taken out.

I was cheering for them, until that disgusting greeting the swamp creatures gave Trump. Now I’m rooting for the ‘Stros.

Yep. What started out as a great World Series between two hot teams ended on Sunday with the boorish display of the DC fans flipping the bird to flyover country.
I feel badly for the Washington players who worked so hard to get to this point, but they deserve another 7-1 or 8-1 drubbing as a message to their stupid fans. I say not only invite the Astros to the White House, but organize a motorcade just to rub it in.

Just wished it was someone other than Verlander pitching. As great as he has been in his career, success in the World Series has eluded him. Maybe he’ll break that streak tonight.
