The only hunting I can accept is hunting for food and clothing.
Sport hunting I draw the line at because we should not take the life of another creature for fun or to appease our human vanity.
What the hunter did was perfectly legitimate and human beings have always provided for their own needs.
We have the right to take from nature as long as we also protect life on the planet.
