Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would have to RENOUNCE their royal titles if they want to move to...

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have to 'renounce their royal privileges ' ahead of any planned move to South Africa, a royal expert has suggested.

The Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, voiced their desires to live in the country on ITV's Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, which aired on Sunday and charted the pair's ten-day tour in South Africa.

However royal correspondent Victoria Arbiter told the New Zealand talk show Breakfast that there are a number of reasons a move to South Africa cannot occur while the couple remain members of the royal family.

Questioning whether the British or South African taxpayer would fund their security, she added that showing 'favouritism' to one Commonwealth nation would not be fulfilling their 'responsibility' to the Queen.

'That’s just not going to be OK unless, of course, they renounce all of their royal privileges, their royal titles, everything to do with their life as a member of the royal family', she said. 'I don’t see that happening, either.'

They are both mentally defective.

Halfwit seems to suffer from some kind of depression.

He also may be on a lot of pain meds. There was an instance where he really appeared drunk and Meghan had to help him ..but it seems to relate to him having to walk up a step to a podium.

I used to respect Harry as the most normal member of the family. One must sympathize with the trauma of his childhood and the death of his mother. And I still appreciate his military service. The only royal in G— knows how long to do frontline duty in a combat zone. But ever since he got involved with the woman he eventually married, he has gone crazy PC and weird.

As for his wife; charity forbids any comment.

Prince William is taking his duties seriously. His trip to Pakistan was a hit.

But overshadowed by this mess.

Maybe every King has a messy brother that screws things up...

It’s not uncommon. Part of the problem is that being born into that family comes with more than just privilege. It also means your life’s course is largely determined at birth. And that can be hard. In the old days when there was a lot more social and institutional deference to the royals, their foibles and scandalous affairs were never discussed in the press. But that belongs to another age. Another part of the problem is that too many people who marry into that family don’t fully grasp what they are getting themselves into.

South Africa under Boer control severed the constitutional monarchy with Britain several decades ago. So, Elizabeth is not Queen there, in contrast to Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

It would be a very strange choice for a royal's residence.

True. Kate is handling it well.

I can’t stand Prince Charles but his story truly is the true fairytale. Married for Duty..Overcame a lot to find happiness with his true love and she has been accepted by the public.

There is no way Markle is going to move to S.Africa. Much too far away from her celebrity “friends”.

No way, she will want to move someplace in the US where she can be the toast of the town while Hapless Halfwit straggles behind her.

Rumors have been flying the past few days about them moving to the US, to Canada and to Africa just 4 months after wasting tax dollars to remodel Frogmore and ordering the neighbors not to speak to her or her dogs. Ain’t no way will MEghan ever give up the title, fame or money. Hey, whatever keeps her out of the US is good.

Yes, the salary would stop. Each royal gets a salary for being royal and performing their duties. Even the littlest royals get a salary if for nothing but getting seen. Charlotte gets a larger salary (funds from the trust) because every time she’s seen in a new outfit, the serfs run out to buy it. Guaranteed this is a major part of MEghan’s reasoning to open her own clothing line. Just wait until Archie starts sporting designer outfits. As with everything, follow the money.

Playing “the victim” is NOT going over well, at all, with the majority of the citizens of the UK and the Commonwealth!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh...but that well is drying up now!

Prince Charles has been overcome by Prince William's new interest in taking over the Cornwall farm and Duchy responsibilities, which Charles had offered to his dimbulb second son ( who probably isn't his ), many times over and has been rebuffed by hapless Harry time and again.
