It’s not uncommon. Part of the problem is that being born into that family comes with more than just privilege. It also means your life’s course is largely determined at birth. And that can be hard. In the old days when there was a lot more social and institutional deference to the royals, their foibles and scandalous affairs were never discussed in the press. But that belongs to another age. Another part of the problem is that too many people who marry into that family don’t fully grasp what they are getting themselves into.
So is Catherine. She and William are doing a fabulous time representing the Queen and The UK. Meghan needs to take lessons from Catherine.
