Our local Phoenix affiliate has some Asian woman endlessly talking about Mulvaney and Trump’s G-7 failures. They don’t even blink.
No, the Oscars failed because no one cares ... except for the ones patting themselves on the back for pretending to be people they aren’t.
Actors and other entertainers used to be on the very bottom of the social hierarchy. Now they have been elevated to the very top.
Why? It’s the same class of people.
There are various reasons for the decline of the Oscars.
To me, a big reason I don’t care, is because I don’t go to movies much, and have never heard of many of the nominees. So I’m certainly not on the edge of my seat watching to see which movie I’ve never heard of beat out which other movie I’m.not familiar with.
And I’ve heard more “arthouse” tyoe movies have been nominated in recent years, and by definition those movies aren’t in wide release in theaters across the country, so relatively few people will have seen such movies.
Pride and vanity... too TOO manu people think that fame and wisdom are the same thing, when more often than not, they are direct opposites.
Those days are long past. Not only do we know now that these idiots have feet of clay, they also have brains of pure shyte. And the morals of alley cats.
There's nothing there to admire.
There is no glamour in Hollywood any longer.
There are Elton Johns, Madonnas, LADY GAGA OR LADY GAG GAGS and just take a look at the “glamourous” get ups that appear on the Red Carpet.
As beautiful as Katy Perry is, she looks like a kook.
Nah, no glamour in Hollywood...or anywhere else for that matter.
