Did an image search of “mosques in Aleppo” and found some interesting courtyards. Remind you of anything?
A lot of them share the square shape and the dome with the JE “temple”.
(Or maybe it’s not a lot. Maybe it’s one that has a lot of photos of it. Haha.) I’m not seeing a super strong correlation, but YMMV. Needs more sauce.
