Somebody please help me figure out how to obtain a UK ip address and appear as though I am in the UK even though I am actually in the US. I also would like to use the sevice for no charge.

I know this is all possible with Tunnelbear, I just have not been able to get it to work.
Nigel, is that you? Try a VPN and found one located in the UK. UNLESS they figured that out and blocked the VPN IP's.
Yes I am logged in. I just don’t see where I can select a UK tunnel.
I use it all the time. They have pretty good customer service, send them an email.
There is a drop down menu to select United Kingdom

I supspect that dropdown menu does not work on the free version.

You need a VPN. Only a couple of bucks/month.
I use PIA, Private Internet Access. Pretty sure you can get it for just a single month. It’s about 4 bucks. Closer to 3 if you buy a longer time. They cover pretty much every real country.

What are you trying to do in the UK? We watch British TV but we download everything. My wife has been watching Emmerdale for over 13 years in 2 different countries the same day as it runs on ITV.
If you’re hoping to watch BBC videos, you’ll need to pay for a VPN with unlimited data. It’s not expensive on a per month basis - a few dollars a month. slickdeals.net always has a VPN sale listed somewhere.
