Todays CG is courtesy of the Arkansas Gazette.
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. ---Eleanor Roosevelt
Ah, that one was fast and easy - just a bit over 2 minutes.
Yes, its BONUS time once again. That laughable time when you get to solve a humorous quote from a classic funny movie, comedian, or entertainer. The trick is, unlike nikos puzzle where you dont want to post spoilers, with the BONUS puzzle its a race for first solution posted, BUT you dont post the solution directly, You post a funny pic ,gif, or meme that shows you solved it. First pic or gif wins the prize with full bragging rights. Honorable mentions for all original pic or gif posts.
Dont get wrapped up in how easy or hard it is. Just solve it and post something funny and share the fun.
Todays puzzle should be an easy give away, so be creative with your replies 😝
Here it is (with anticipation and drum roll). Ready, set, solve:

A pleasant quote to start the weekend with. 60 seconds.
7 minutes. That was a nail biter. The ing word helped as did the e but I had no sense where I was going for quite a while.
Where in the world did you find that? It was easy but way over my head :)
Got it.
Got writer’s cramp, but I solved it.
Edible = eligible
Woo-hoo!! Doing these with my first cup of coffee is relaxing. When they’re posted after I’ve had a pot, it’s mania time. :)

Under a minute. I just sat there and typed in the letters as if I knew what it was going to say. Easiest one yet. GOOD ONE, too!
