Todays Cryptogram
AOIQKAOIXZT QOT SXGKM KZDMDAXZT VXSDV, PWI ONOT, ONTD ADVIXT. ---VDPKVI QKXNPVDMKV
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
Todays CHALLENGING CG is courtesy of the Arkansas Gazette. Anything under 10 minutes is a good score on this one.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.---John Bunyan
Not a complete quite.
Tough one for me this morning. 7 min. Got fooled by 3 letters ending for 1st and 4th word. After getting the 3 letters endings right, it was slow trial and error for me.
10 minutes. Plenty of rabbit holes.
Word #5 really thru me. I got it right the first time, then doubted myself.
I recognized the author’s first name, and that me a good hint at the #5 word. Not many 5 letter words begin and end with the same letter.
Quote.....
This one could make you stiff....

I made a leap of faith at the sixth word, the word after the comma. That gave me the first name of the author, which lead me to the only possible fifth word. Once that was established, the rest of the words fell out.
It's a good thing that the author's last name was filled in by the rest of the quote ... I'd have never gotten it on its own.
Funny one. The large first word jumped out at me for some reason. It was just plug and play from there.
Ugh - an hour for me.
It’s ike running a marathon.. at least you finished...
Dropping by for clues.
I might be stumped today!
Finally solved it.
Tough one but finally got it. About 10 minutes. WOW!
That was a tough one. Even having the first name and the conjunction, it was just By Guess and By Gosh till I lucked out.
