I try to follow this stuff, but I miss important things and it bugs me that I don’t know the significance. For example, I have no idea what the red shoes mean. Can someone please explain the red shoes?

Exactly! That does seem to be the Question!...At least to me.
Some have the belief that it has been resolved, others don’t.
Perhaps Q is now revealing clues/touch points to determine the truth or lie of various of those theories and just who those parents might be once he throws more clues out there.
Just a thought.
