Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this transformation as follows:

When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

I agree, might be cold hearted on my part yet that woman’s healing doesn’t concern me. The children harmed and ruined, that concerns me.
Was thinking about the Q drop that said something to the effect of an action taken that would unite people...comments suggested it would be both Dems and republicans taking a hit so to say. Nah, most would just stay in their lane and be glad the opposition was caught.
Having THIS filth exposed, I believe will unite people.
No one I’ve spoken to today takes this **** lightly and all decent normal people want these degenerates to be taken down!

The media I think is starting a new antiQ strategy. They first would only want you to think it is a crazy conspiracy. They still do, but they know the day POTUS admits it is real is coming. Thus, they are wanting that people are misinformed about Q’s message and are terrified when that happens. See this post from Daily Beast:

They want people to only believe Q is about unjustly rounding up dems and killing or imprisoning them without due process.

The difference in us and them is we are glad when a republican criminal is caught and prosecuted. They on the other hand will fight to the death for theirs.
