People whose kid didn’t get into one of those colleges are going to be angry when they find out some “elite” bought their way in. I hope we see more of this.
Also more publicity about the “elite” who get special parking spots (no, not the employee of the month at your place of work), get bumped to the front of the line, get warnings instead of tickets, get criminal cases dismissed, get $300,000/year jobs with no work required, get appointed to corporate boards and paid for no apparent work, get Harvard professorships (because they are fake native Americans) where they only teach one class for $300,000+, get political offices handed to them (lookin’ at you, AOC), get freebies that the rest of us have to pay for, ........
I don’t have any problem with the fact that someone who is richer than I am can afford more toys than I can. I’m not interested in class warfare with them. But I do have a problem with someone who is richer who can “buy” things like college admission that ought to be on merit, or who can “buy” more justice than a poor person.

The operative word is “ought” ... college admission is based on a lot of factors including diversity, life-stories, national origin, athletic ability, and other factors the university feels they need to round out the student body. ... unless you want to parse the word ‘merit’ ...
