( Don't be stupid. We have politicians for that.)

The phone detail is particularly curious ... but even before that:
In this same meeting Rod talked about interviews with candidates for director. Then he flipped back to talking about possible candidates for the special counsel job. It was hard to track whether he was talking about candidates for one job or for the other. One minute, he said Mueller had been asked to interview for the position of FBI director; Mueller had gone in for an interview with Trump ..."
Because if POTUS was interviewing the Mule for SC ... then ... TBD ;)

Well, well, well!
Talk about a twist!
The promulgated story...in general...
Comey: 'This time there will be a tape'
After Trump implied he had recorded conversations with Comey in the Oval Office before firing him in 2017, the ex-FBI chief told a Senate committee he hoped that was true, saying Lordy, I hope there are tapes.
This...https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/863007411132649473
James Comey better hope that there are no "tapes" of our conversations before he starts leaking to the press!
SO, now we know the rest of the story. Who was taping whom?
We have it all. /Q

Notable, IMO, that Mueller left his phone inside after meeting POTUS.I just noticed Mueller is in the Q dropped, "behind the bars" meme alongside RR.
