I’m way older than you. I retired at age 56 to take care of my parents, and lived off my 401k till I turned 62.

I really should do more chores, but I always did goof off at home. Mom would leave us a list of chores, and I’d wait till as late as I could before I’d do them.

Brother was the same way. He would try to order me to help him finish his chores. I would not. Then he would try to force me, sometimes it hurt, but I still would not.

If he had asked nicely and said please, I would have helped. Brother did not like to be nice. So we tangled.
