With their jobs/background I’m sure they had survival skills. So why are they dead?
It does seem a bit odd, (convenient timing ?), but then again- they were in a war zone, so anything can happen.
I have a similar odd feeling about Pelousy and her fellow demonrats "excursion" to Belgium, Egypt, and Afghanistan. What were they really up to? It's obvious the dems could care less about our military, so the whole thing is weird.

The suspect has been captured according to @syriahr. He allegedly escorted a woman to the restaurant and left before she blew herself up. He is seen running away from the attack scene moments before the explosion in CCTV footage.
And what good were these people doing there?
Under what Congressional authorization? This is what happens when our professional government ignores the constitution.
There is no reason to be in Syria.
Just a guess but this looks very similar to the dining arrangements shown in the movie 13 Hours in Benghazi.
Civilian CIA agents go to local eatery to meet with local contacts while being protected by a couple of our special ops guys.
Or it could be a coincidence that a bomb was set off at the minute some Americans happened to be visiting that restaurant.
