I agree with you regarding Artichokes (and milk thistle.) These have been used for hundreds of years in Europe for liver problems. (I use Milk Thistle.)

Also, Burdock thistle root is good for cleansing the kidneys

Long thin root...like a carrot,..bitter in taste...difficult to harvest.

Mrs. Spokeshave solved the problem...grow it in gallon 5-gallon plastic buckets...the root eventually spirals around inside

Lift up out of the bucket and cut off the root as required.

Eat raw, cook in soups, or grated in salads.

if your looking for burdock or similar - there is a Japanese version that can commonly be found in asian food stores, Whole Foods, Mustard Seed, and Trader Joes carries it all the time. In Japan they call it Gobo. My wife uses it a lot in various ways. cross cut rounds, long thin slices. raw in a salad, stir fry, tempura fried. Very versatile.

I like burdock root, called gobo in Hawaii as Japanese eat it. Not a main dish but added to stuff; never found it bitter.

I use the powdered root in herb formulas.

So what will detox but taste good or at least better?

It’s not a real slide, because we know derps are trying to kill us off with various methods, and we need to know how to defend ourselves. LOL
