(Oops, Sliding off into the ? gardening? Thread)

I agree with you regarding Artichokes (and milk thistle.) These have been used for hundreds of years in Europe for liver problems. (I use Milk Thistle.)

What I want to know every time I see this, is whether the cilantro researchers tested the cilantro for heavy metal content before feeding it to the subjects? If not perhaps the heavy metal being excreted is from the cilantro.

Why this concern? My understanding is that in Mexico sludge is often used in farming as a fertilizer, and lot of heavy metal (metal plating, ect) is dumped in their sewage systems. If the cilantro was from a field in Mexico I would not trust the results.

If you find the research on this let me know! (Slide-off back to Q)

...and that’s why I usually only eat veggies in season (winter squash in winter).

Also, Burdock thistle root is good for cleansing the kidneys

Long thin root...like a carrot,..bitter in taste...difficult to harvest.

Mrs. Spokeshave solved the problem...grow it in gallon 5-gallon plastic buckets...the root eventually spirals around inside

Lift up out of the bucket and cut off the root as required.

Eat raw, cook in soups, or grated in salads.

There's not much else Q can do or say. We need a major confrontation, such as we haven't really had since POTUS fired Comey.

We'll see if this "Shutdown" will bloody the battlefield; I'm guessing it won't. They'll somehow punt again.

Of course the "Impeachment" efforts might qualify; but, I don't think Pelosi is going to throw that out there yet ... she'll wait for Mueller.

The loss of Chief Justice Roberts is very concerning, because I KNOW epic SCOTUS confrontations are ahead.

Are we going to have to wait for RBG to finally retire before the Court is secure?

I SO MUCH WISH that suggestive Q-727 would come true (translated by some as "RBG for Christmas" by switching timestamp to 4:12:25)
