Okay, I dug around the SMO and it does look like a fake site, with barely any actual articles. I clicked “classified ads” and it h as many categories, with no ads.
So.... looks fake.

and when I watched the analysis, in particular https://youtu.be/pR4q5mXHppo?t=172 and the ending bit with Trump's voiced comment, I realized that 9/11 was personal to Trump. They attacked HIS city. They attacked his livelihood, his professional work by bringing down those skyscrapers. For Trump, this is personal.
After a bit more delving on the SMO, it looks as though it’s one of those free weekly papers many cities have, and their online site doesn’t bother with advertising, and that explains why not a lot of articles, it’s printed once a week.
It is a leftist site/paper whatever it is. Who knows whether the RBG stuff is true but time will tell. Since it’s free, they have no reason to have big news to sell it. Maybe if there are any FReeQers in the Santa Monica area they can report back.
