I'm somewhat understanding of the negativeness. I mean, we've gone pretty much backwards since Ronald Reagan's Presidency, especially the Clinton and Obama years. I'd give the Dubya years a slowing-down rating, but not quite a pause on our leftward slide.
Enter President Trump and people are understandably impatient. I go through spells of "I want it now!" too, but it can't be had that quickly.
I think that progress has been made, slower than many wish, but it's progress. And it needs to be pointed out maybe from time to time.
