I am of the opinion that Christians should NOT consume ANYTHING that is “halal” but especially halal meats. In order for an animal to be categorized as halal, it must be sacrificed using the utterance of the Islamic prayer Bismillah. In my opinion, that means the animal has been sacrificed to an idol.

They're getting some imam to certify that the chocolate is halal, as rabbis certify that it's kosher, without changing anything in the recipe.

I guess i can say I no longer will be handing these out to the kids in family his year, something I’ve done the past 5 years. If I did it would be the same as if I were handing out chocolate made to the specifications of KKK doctrine, ain’t do that either.

They are probably Kosher too. The issue is pure ingredients and not meat products in to the candy. Which All chocolates are dairy only.

I consider halal the Muslim version of kosher so I respect it for that reason. This won’t change the chocolate or whatever. You guys wouldn’t get your panties in a twist over Lindt making chocolate kosher (and I believe they have), so don’t fuss over this.
