The last score I saw before I feel asleep was 14-0. I should have known better! I watched and admired Phillip Rivers for four years as he played for NC State so I know that he NEVER gives up and always believes that he can win. I don't know if the Freepers remember that the New York Giants chose him in the first round of the 2004 draft. The Giants promptly traded him to the Chargers for the number one draft pick of that year, Eli Manning. I remember thinking at the time that the Chargers got the better end of that deal! You can coach a lot of things, but the heart and will to win that Philip has always shown are the result of his upbringing. The son of a coach and a devout Roman Catholic, he has been married to his high school sweetheart since they were both students at NCSU and they are expecting their ninth child. By the way, the QB he replaced in San Diego when he became the starter-Drew Brees.

you got that right! I’ll take back a few things about Rivers after that unlikely comeback. Even with our top 2 RBs out and then Keenan Allen gets knocked out and we still come back from 21-7 to win this???? We only showed up in the 4th quarter, the rest of the game we played like garbage.
