Hypothetically, if they succeed in indicting Trump and impeachment using such flimsy evidence, they would incite massive rebellion from people who support Trump. Possible riots? Civil War? Are they wanting this? Would this be an excuse to confiscate guns? Martial Law? They would still get Pence if Trump was thrown out of office, so what is the point? Sorry for the Vanity and if these are stupid questions, but I am just trying to figure out why they are doing this?
well, yes, that is socialisms goal in general. Socialism is a plague on humanity.

From the perspective of someone living in a deep blue state I would say they don’t have a plan. You are giving the Democrats way too much credit. Their standard m.o. is to create a crisis, problem or future issue and the only way to solve it is by raising taxes and new regulations. When the problem is not solved they claim the taxes were not high enough and regulations not robust enough. This is all they know what to do.

Trump has a Trump Card. It is the information related to the FISA warrant. I am sure he will use it soon or when he feels the timing is perfect. The release will enrage us all!
I have been trying to figure out the end game for 50 years.
I have come to the conclusion that their game never ends
because they always create new enemies. It can only end when we rebel and that will be a bloody mess.
I have thought of this before. I don’t think they even know their endgame. They just push and push and push until they start fighting each other as they have removed all other resistance to their power. Look at the Soviet Union for an example. I honestly think they don’t know how far is far enough that they don’t want to go down the road to perdition any longer.
By the way, my answer above is the reason why capitulation and “reaching across the aisle” is a futile attempt. Conservatives never, and I mean never, get reciprocity.

Do patriots really desire a free constitutional republic to effect self government and determination, and all the responsibilities that entails? Or, are they really trying to reclaim the high consumption lifestyles enjoyed by all industrial countries for the last 100 years, including the attendant luxuries and conveniences?
Here's the deal that's driving globalism - they believe they can manage a gradual slow down of economic activity. Their logic is that we live on a finite planet. With the exception of sunlight, earth is a closed system. Resource exhaustion, environmental degradation and over population present a three headed monster. For the last 100 years, the entire financial, economic and social systems have been built on an ephemeral foundation that isn't sustainable.
As far as globalists concerned, it's impossible to attempt to either explain the situation or mollify western people who have become accustomed to certain standards of living. The elite know about looming resource constraints since at least the end of WWII when their long range plans were originally launched. After all, WWII was driven by resource constraints. With nations armed with nuclear weapons, competition can threaten all of humanity.
So, their solution is to simply replace the native malcontents with simpler, less developed, lower IQ masses from the equatorial zones. The new "citizens" don't have built in expectations, have no institutional memory of freedom (including such novel concepts as 2A armed self defense), but rather, are happier then hell just to have indoor plumbing. Existing populations, culture, history all need to be erased and forgotten in order to have this plan realized, hence the role in media to constantly attack & discredit western civilization.
Once you know the why, then you can begin to understand what's at stake. The global elite are planning on taking the entire planet back to a feudal system where only the upper tier have access to luxuries, and where science and technology can still be pursued. Out in the open, the disenfranchised masses will be controlled by mass surveillance in a perpetual state of full spectrum control, the beginnings of which we can already see in plain site.
Even if they don’t remove trump the purpose is to scare anyone from actually pushing populist ideas ever again. I honestly don’t see anyway they can be stop. (Well I do but I don’t want the FBI to come knocking on my door)

To get power and keep it. The Democrats figured out that you could bribe your way into public office from their inception. Racism, Jim Crow, and the desire to reverse Appomattox were all just tools to get power and keep it in the South. The New Deal and the Great Society are all about bribing the public with money from the insolvent public treasury for the purpose of holding on to power. Since the 1930s the Democrats have been infested by international communists who are seeking Marx’s worldwide Utopia. When they get power, and keep it, it is for that purpose.

Pretty much the same plan they’ve had since the mid 70s ... should add in that: most people will be forced to live in a Solari-like designed arcology city, while the elite will live in vast estates covering many hundreds of square miles - off limits to all but those with need to cross and have the correct papers. A lucky few (perhaps lucky) will be chattel slaves on the estates to maintain what robots cannot do.
