One name that comes to mind is Herbert Marcuse, subversive cultural marxist of the Frankfort School, and his role in the OSS precursor.

BTW, I stumbled on a youtube of W on the Kimmel show and (the loathsome) Kimmel asked him about UFOs and he refused to answer. Watching that with my current knowledge was very, very interesting. Not saying I believe in UFOs. Just saying MAYBE there was something odd going on there and something W was covering up. Maybe it was not just a humorous exchange. Was it a hint to us?
