I saw some Atlantic article during the campaign. It was of course bulls***. Then I dug a bit, found out that The Atlantic was very proud that it never endorsed a president other than someone I can’t remember 100 years ago or something, until Trump and Hitlery. They had to endorse Hitlery because Trump is Evil.

That is all anyone needs to know about The Atlantic.

Unless and until an unbiased news source is found about this matter, it’s all unknown. The Fake News is so fake that even if there is a little truth in something, it is mixed up with innuendo, lies, cherry picking, etc.

I wouldn’t doubt it. sometimes wiki is behind and somebody decides to update stuff when the stuff is in the current news.

I stopped trying to change wiki stuff a long while ago, after they adiosed a change i made re: a reference to, along the lines of, “winning” the MOH.

Privacy and secrecy are two different things. Collected unanalyzed data is just that. Data. 'Secrets' may be collected in this sweep, but until they are analyzed, decoded (if in code) and contexualized, they remain secret. As for the 60% unrevealed of Q, it is Nunya. Why we are a constitutional Republic, why we have people who 'do' gov't. Lots of Nunya out there that will never come to light, nor should it if the present guardians of our freedom think it best.

{A} I see your point, but that kind of idealism leads to thinking like the ones we oppose. We can eschew racism but that doesn’t mean racism won’t be practiced against us. We can eschew violence and war but that CERTAINLY does not mean violence and war won’t be practiced against us. And we can say we’re giving up spying but how can we do that when others will always be spying on us?

{B} What *I* would like to see is some of those secret societies like Skull & Bones investigated with a proctoscope. I want to know why all the presidents come from Yale and Harvard. Collusion, legacy appointments, pay to play, scratch my back, unionism, clout, pull, who you’re knowin’ and who you’re blowin’. That’s the stuff I want routed out.

{A} My guesses & assumptions about governmental secrecy from direct & 2nd hand observations.

1. 85-95% of governmental secrecy is to:
(a) Cover up corruption
(b) Cover up stupidity, gross errors
(c) Cover up treason
(d) Cover up greed & power-mongering--selfishness at citizens', The Republic's destructive expense
(e) Cover up embarrassment over clumsiness, goofs.

2. That leaves about 5-15% of the MASSIVE number amount & degree of secrecy as legitimate to protect against real & potential enemies.

3. UNFITTING, UNWARRANTED, EXCESS SECRECY FORCES CITIZENS TO LIVE IN AN UNTRUE, UNREAL WORLD to their hurt and the Republic's hurt. It is a hurt they have no recourse against. Many citizens have been treasonously murdered and whole families murdered MERELY TO PROTECT THE EVILDOERS and sometimes merely the embarrassment of politicos.

4. WHO is the secrecy REALLY protecting the citizens from? Probably 15-50% of our "national security" secrets are already known (& the tech already copied) by our enemies. And we know they know it. It's NOT WORKING to protect us against them. It merely protects the evildoers from justice by their constituent countrymen. How is that good?

5. Of course being honest won't prevent enemies & evil doers from being dishonest. So what. Honesty & honorable dealings is STILL the best God-fearing choice. And, it earns God's reward for indiduals and nations.

6. Certainly there are times and issues to be wise about. God rebuked the stupid Israeli king that showed a probable and later fierce enemy king all Israel's gold & treasures. That was dumb.

7. I think there needs to be relatively short term (8-12 years) vetted, objective, smart, knowledgeable, informed, HUMBLE citizen committees to rotatingly review every 5 years every case of governmental secrecy for whether it makes patriotic sense and is still needed.

7.1 They must have NO conflicts of interest and no axes to grind relative to what they are reviewing. They must have reputations for absolutely strict integrity over the last 35 years of their lives.

7.2 1-3 of the 7 member committees should have as their major reason for membership incredible common sense and insightfulness whether they are technologically knowledgeable and scientifically trained, or not.

7.3 Committee members should be paid 50% of the monthly salary of an average of the top 12 corporate CEO's at the time--for every month of their duty period. Afterward, they should receive a retirement income of the 75% mark of middle class retirement incomes. Any failure to keep their knowledge & tasks secret as they decide is important would result in immediate incarceration for the rest of their lives.

8. The committees would have absolute authority over whether a given sphere of secrecy should remain secret and at what level of secrecy. They would have full access to whatever intel related to their spheres of oversight responsibility.

9. Every sphere of secrecy would have such a review no less than every 15 years.

10. No more than 3-5 major spheres of secrecy could maintain their secrecy beyond 80-90 years. And 50% or so of the spheres of secrecy must be disclosed after 50 years. Exceptions must have a unanimous vote of the last 2 Committee reviews.

{B} (a) Most secret groups are bone marrow, foundationally utterly satanic. All their buildings, statues, symbols should be reduced to powder, incinerated and the residue dumped in the Marianas Trench. Start with the huge penis at the D.C. mall.

(b) Outlaw all such groups.

(c) Any resurgeance--execute the accolites.

I don't expect any such measures before Armageddon. Afterwards, I suspect Christ will have HIS version of such that will be exceedingly effective.
