Steve, I don’t understand your complaint. Whatever discussion took place relating to the General, I missed it, and don’t know what you are talking about.
That clip came up on You tube, and I clicked on it, because it was short and I recognized the name as the replacement for the current joint chief of staff.

“You got to keep them separated”. Chickens are in a nice coop with a large enclosed paddock. Cat in house when possible. He’s a nut.
The chickens just started laying about a month ago. I have *&^% tons of eggs now, just like I like it. Best single source of nutrition on the planet.

Exactly why the term “conservative” started disgusting me at least ten years ago. I decided “Constitutionalist” was a more apt description of political and social views I adhered to and admired. ******************************************************************************
I kinda like Classical Liberal- Like George Washington, and others of our founding fathers. See - the left stole the term liberal, but “Constitutionalist” is nifty too.
No electricity == no job. How to pay bills? Food not an issue, but water / toilets flushing? Natural gas for furnace ( important in MN ).
After retirement, when we combined the apartment with the house, dear undemonstrative husband knelt on the carpet in the house and kissed it. You’re out of antipasta and at the store. But which place are you buying for? You can’t find something. Does that mean it’s at the other place, or that you just didn’t look long enough?
We are retired. Small town. Paid down debts beginning 2007. Paid off all debts by now.
Generators, battery operated fans, solar chargers for batteries and radio. We are on a well and septic. Two fireplaces and lots of wood for heat.
Gardens and plenty of home canned or dehydrated food. etc. Big Berkey in case we need to purify water. Sterno stove for quick coffee. BBQ and rocket stove for meals.
Looking into setting up solar/wind power in case we need a backup for the generator. Nearly finished with our preparation-we have gone for over a week without electricity in the past and it was uneventful.
Ran my Dad’s oxygen concentrator, Two TVs, 2 Refrigerators and a freezer, and 2 window air conditioners and the microwave. Did fine. Nice and comfy.
Banks have back up plans to switch to manual, in case of computer down. Local banks have sufficient money to pay local bills.
Can’t tell more - op sec ya know.
