My guess is that the Q/Trump team planned a whole boatload of excitement for D4/D5. Due to the DS move causing a state funeral, some things had to be rearranged. But it looks like there was no reason that the Flynn situation couldn’t be resolved on schedule, so they did that.

Maybe the fireworks would have been bigger if it had all happened at once. But the Flynn news is good news. A good portent of things to come.

I can see this scenario, but one must also consider Q’s post that said, “... Please allow us to counter.” There was no idea/warning to anyone that this news flash was about to burst into the news cycle.
