The photos of the fitting are definitely another factor. They were putting on a big show by putting those photos of the fitting out to the public. There was a reason for it. We’ve never seen W measured for a suit before. So why now?
What it looks like to me is that they are saying “Hey, everybody, look! This guy really is a tailor and I really am getting a new suit! Nothing suspicious about having him fly in and back out again on a private jet! Don’t look at that! Just look at me getting a new suit! Like I’ve done dozens of times before, only without calling attention to it and making it into a big public spectacle.”
Exactly. And it was Bush Sr. so why would he be fitted (making it into the news for the Very First Time, photo and all!) and then Bush Jr would be wearing it, not sensible.
IMHO this was definitely a message of some kind.

You’re right on about the public display about the suit fitting. Flaunting a suit fitting is more than a little gauche. Must have been a reason. I did think it was odd when it was in the fake news.
Maybe he’s the new Clown Boss. Look at me-I measure up to the job. LOL
