I had the 8-track back in the ‘70s. Great song, but I think I have heard it just about EVERY SINGLE DAY since then!!! Like Bob Segars’s “Turn the page”, it’s not a matter of if the radio is going to play it today, only when.

I HATE Boston and all of their songs. A record reviewer in a local college newspaper back in the 70s said their sound was like a “bunch of chipmunks dodging laser beams”. That coupled with the asses across my dorm room hallway blasting them at two in the morning definitely didn’t help.

Cannot get the youtube link to work for more than a few seconds before stopping. After the fourth time it was non responsive. I like Boston, but not the youtube video.

Nope. Studio musicians from Canada but with some very interesting songs. Their album “Hope” has all of the songs on it relating to the artwork on the front and back covers.

Why do I like songs that remind me of high school, yet I didn’t like HS?

It’s a shame you can’t appreciate music.

I thought a lot of their music was spectacular, but only as a studio recording, impossible to come close to duplicating in a live concert.

While I never saw them live, I suspect the same was probably true with Zep.

Weren’t Boston and Kansas the same band?

Wait, no. Boston came later.

So what probably happened was, some of Kansas’ musicians got pink slips one day. And they said..

“Hey, I don’t think we’re in Kansas any more!”

And so, Boston was born.

j/k

I hate to admit it, but I bought that album. Actually saw them in concert. It was fun, I suppose. They played More Than Feeling twice that night, as they ran out of material.

If you’re a DJ looking for a lead-in to the long version of “More Than A Feeling”, definitely use the “Pavane for the Sleeping Beauty” cover by Joe Walsh.

Oops. Correction

If you're a DJ looking for a lead-in to the long version of Boston's "Boston - Foreplay / Long Time", definitely use the "Pavane for the Sleeping Beauty" cover by Joe Walsh.

Double lead guitars were an interesting twist.
