Break happened Monday and was set and casted at ER. Tuesday I saw a local (Lawrence KS) orthopedic surgeon who mainly does hip replacements. He sent me to an orthopedic surgeon at KU med who said keep it elevated and we’ll do surgery Tuesday. Tomorrow. Pins, plates. Etc. My sil says it’s to keep from having to do thanksgiving. 🙃

That was my point. How many quarterbacks have been prototypical and turned out lousy, and yet Mayfield is maybe 6’ and Drew Brees is maybe 6’, and yet they are pretty good quarterbacks..Sometimes quarterbacks are just great quarterbacks. I always thought McCoy could have been a good quarterback, but not great because he doesn’t have all of the throws of a Mayfield or Brees.

He’s 34 and it will probably take a good 2 years to heal and go thru rehab. At 36 it may be healed but who would hire him, knowing what is possible to happen?.........
