Thanks - I just searched and found that, and here is a relevant article from The American Thinker. This is why I think Sessions is not finished serving the country.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/nov/22/legislators-and-honest-graft/

Sessions makes his move

March 19, 2018 By J.R. Dunn

Back in 2011, the indomitable Peter Schweizer published Throw Them All Out, a detailed examination of political corruption as it is actually practiced in the halls of Congress.

In his investigation, Schweizer found one single member of Congress against whom no allegations could be held – who had never taken a dime that was not his, had never cut any backroom deals, had never, simply put, played the game.

That individual was Jeff Sessions.

That fact is all you need to know to understand why Donald Trump selected Sessions for the Department of Justice, and why Sessions has followed the course he has in taking on the “Russia collusion” coup effort.

Sessions is the quintessential Eagle Scout. He will follow the rules down to the last subclause and will not make his move until every “t” has been crossed and every “i” dotted.

We saw the first results of this approach last Friday – in dealing with Andrew McCabe, this century’s prime example of a “cookie full of arsenic.”

Sessions waited until the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (which is run by Assistant Director Candice Will, who was appointed by Robert Mueller, of all people) recommended that McCabe be fired. He then had McCabe officially informed beforehand, following established procedure to the letter.

This comes under the rubric of “strategy,” a concept unfortunately foreign to too many active conservatives. A large number of cons recognize only one course of action: a headlong charge against the closest target while howling at the top of their lungs. Not only do they dismiss any more subtle form of action, but they often attack those engaging in it of cowardice or corruption, or of being an “Alinskyite-Obamaist commie stooge” – despite the fact that their kamikaze runs usually end up heading over the nearest cliff.

So it was with Sessions, who has been routinely dismissed as “paid off,” being “asleep under his desk,” or as “part of the swamp.”

Sessions took his time, did things according to the book, and dealt the swamp a good, stiff blow while leaving its denizens little recourse but to throw tantrums in the media, which they have been doing the weekend long. Compare this to all the would-be conservative champions – McCarthy, LeBoutillier, Moore – piled up under the cliff while the leftist monolith trundles on nearly unscathed.

The Eagle Scout strategy does have its drawbacks. It constitutes the reason why Sessions recused himself after being accused of “meeting” (as in “Hello, Dmitri. How are you?”) a Russian. As Sidney Falco says in the clip above, “I never thought I’d make a killing on some guy’s integrity.” But at the same time, it allows Sessions complete freedom of action now, as the endgame begins to take shape.

Look forward to seeing more of this kind of thing as Sessions and the Trump administration as a whole drill deeper into the muck of liberal D.C. At times you will see little, since much of the action will be occurring behind the scenes. But pay close attention to what you can see. You will be witnessing master strategists in action, and much of what they do can be applied to other scenarios similar in nature.

t might be that once revelations concerning voter fraud is revealed, those serving illegally will be removed and the actual winners sworn into office.

Under existing law, that won’t happen. But if those elected in a questionable manner are shamed into resignation, gubernatorial appointments (Senate) or special elections would fill those positions.

Dems can’t be shamed.

How come no one is talking about Kashoggi and the Sauds?

PM Erdogan in Turkey is talking about it. Or was that sarcasm?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"They've Listened, They Know": Erdogan Announces Turkey Shared Khashoggi Death Tapes With U.S.
From the first week of investigations in the aftermath of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate it was widely reported that Turkish authorities had captured the heinous crime on audio recording as they'd had the consulate bugged, but there was never ultimate confirmation outside of taking anonymous Turkish officials' word for it.
But now President Tayyip Erdogan dropped bombshell just before he boarded a plane to Paris on Saturday for the 100th Armistice Day celebrations, where other world leaders will be gathered: "We gave the tapes… They know," Erdogan said speaking of the U.S. and European partners Germany, France and Britain. It's the first official public confirmation that recordings of Khashoggi murder at the hands of Saudi operatives exist. Apparently Erdogan has more to come in terms of slowly humiliating the Saudis as the timing of this is quite dramatic.
But given the damning nature and absolute certain proof that such evidence constitutes now in the hands of American authorities, why has Washington kept completely silent about it? And how long have they had the audio in their possession?
n a televised speech, Erdogan said Turkey has handed over recordings to Saudi Arabia, the United States, Germany, France and Britain. According to Reuters Erdogan stated confidently:
We gave the tapes. We gave them to Saudi Arabia, to the United States, Germans, French and British, all of them. They have listened to all the conversations in them. They know.
The Saudi story has shifted significantly over the past month as officials initially denied outright that any murder had taken place as they claimed Khashoggi left the consulate, but later floated the idea of an unauthorized "rogue operation" — which has now morphed into Saudi admission of a premeditated attack, but which they've still distanced crown prince MbS from any involvement in or knowledge of.
Following Erdogan's revelation, he demanded the Saudis identify from among a 15-man team that was confirmed by CCTV footage and other records to have arrived in Turkey days before Khashoggi’s killing. “There’s no need to distort this issue, they know for certain that the killer, or the killers, is among these 15 people. Saudi Arabia’s government can disclose this by making these 15 people talk,” Erdogan said.
Erdogan also took aim at Saudi Arabia's top prosecutor Saud al-Mujeb, saying, he's trying to "dodge the column" — or avoid doing his appointed duty of truly investigating the crime. "He [Al-Mujeb] asks for our prosecutor down there. Here [Turkey] is the place where the incident took place, you can discuss whatever you want to discuss here," Erdogan said.
And significantly Erdogan said he would seek a meeting with President Donald Trump in Paris during the WWI commemorations to discuss the matter: "When we go to Paris, we will try to secure an opportunity and we will realize a bilateral meeting."
Meanwhile President Trump and French leader Emmanuel Macron agreed during a meeting on Saturday after Trump previously arrived in Paris that the Saudi authorities needed to shed full light on Khashoggi’s murder, a French presidency source said cited by Reuters. However they were also reported to have agreed that further destabilization in the Middle East should be avoided — implying they don't plan to pressure MbS out of power in favor of another ruling prince.
But again one pressing question that remains, however, is how long have American authorities known of the contents of the Khashoggi murder tape? When did officials listen to it and why have they kept silent about it even as news of the death and investigation drove headlines?
Acting Attorney General Whitaker Statement On Presidential Proclamation
After President Trump’s Presidential Proclamation regarding the Southwest Border, Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker issued the following statement of strong support:
“Our southern border is in crisis. The hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who have unlawfully crossed our border are posing a significant threat to the government’s ability to effectively enforce our nation’s immigration laws. Plain and simple, there are too many loopholes in our current immigration system. The vast majority of asylum claims that originated from this system are not meritorious. What’s worse, large numbers of aliens fail to even pursue their claims in court and many fail to appear for their court hearings.
“Today, the President has made a strong statement that enough is enough. Aliens with legitimate claims to asylum can still receive it—they simply have to go to one of our ports of entry. Thanks to this decisive order from President Trump, we are continuing to provide a path to protection for those who truly need it, while stopping our generosity from being abused.”
The total number of aliens referred to expedited removal proceedings has significantly increased over the last decade, from 161,516 aliens in 2008 to approximately 234,534 in FY 2018. The total number of credible-fear referrals for interviews increased from about 5,000 a year in Fiscal Year (FY) 2008 to about 97,000 in FY 2018.
The vast majority of asylum applications are not meritorious. In FY 2018, a total of about 6,000 aliens who passed through credible-fear screening (17 percent of all completed cases, 27 percent of all completed cases in which an asylum application was filed, and about 36 percent of cases where the asylum claim was adjudicated on the merits) established that they should be granted asylum.
More than approximately 70,000 aliens a year (as of FY 2018) are estimated to enter between the ports of entry and then assert a credible fear in expedited removal proceedings. Another 24,000 assert fear to return at our ports of entry.
As of November 2, 2018, there were approximately 203,569 total cases pending in the immigration courts that originated with a credible-fear referral—or 26 percent of the total backlog of 791,821 removal cases.
Of that number, 136,554 involved nationals of Northern Triangle countries. 89 percent of aliens from the Northern Triangle receive a positive credible-fear interview.
But in nearly half of the completed cases involving these aliens, the alien failed to appear at a hearing or failed to file an asylum application.
71 percent were of claims completed with the issuance of an order of removal.
31 percent were of claims completed where the alien failed to appear at a hearing.
40 percent were of claims completed without the alien filing an application for asylum
Only nine percent were ultimately granted asylum.
Emmanuel Macron assassination plot foiled by French police
The likely reason Trump did not attend the ceremony - and perhaps likely that Trump was really the target.
Not to mention they undoubtedly had an FBI FISA warrant to allow them to surveil Romney and his team. I’m sure they didn’t just invent that maneuver for Mr. Trump. I’m not convinced either Romney or we don’t say his name didn’t take dives on orders from their masters.
To be clear, I’m speculating that there was also some kind of assassination plot at the ceremony that Trump skipped. This article above reveals the French police foiled an assassination at a parade on Macron.
I just clicked the article and the supposed would-be assassin was “far right” who also wanted to kill “Jews, Moslems and homosexuals”.
Yeah, riiiiight.
A MAN has been charged with plotting to assassinate President Emmanuel Macron at France’s Bastille Day military parade which the French leader is set to attend with US President Donald Trump.
The 23-year-old is a suspected far-right extremist who told investigators he wanted to kill Mr Macron at the July 14 national day parade in Paris, a judicial source close to the investigation said.
He said he also wanted to attack “Muslims, Jews, blacks, homosexuals,” the source added.
