Though Neanderthals had learned to control and manipulate fire, just like modern humans, Neanderthals did not incorporate fish and plants into their diet, giving them fewer food sources.

Those canards were nothing but BS from the start, pulled up out of thin air, and have been superseded (refuted) by actual evidence. It had been years since I'd seen anyone make those claims.The fact that the guy writing this has Neandertal DNA, and that most (if not all) people reading this have Neandertal DNA, really cornholes what they're saying anyway.
