• Cheryl Mills: (#1824) Cheryl D. Mills is a lawyer and corporate executive. She first came into public prominence while serving as deputy White House Counsel for President Bill Clinton, whom she defended during his 1999 impeachment trial. She has worked for New York University as Senior Vice President, served as Senior Adviser and Counsel for Hillary Clinton's 2008 and 2016 presidential campaigns, and is considered a member of Hillary Clinton's group of core advisers, self-designated as "Hillaryland". She served as Counselor and Chief of Staff to Hillary Clinton during her whole tenure as United States Secretary of State. Mills appeared with the former Secretary Clinton during her questioning by the FBI claiming she was Clinton’s attorney for the purposes of her defense, even though she was a person of interest in the missing email investigation and Mills’ Apple laptop had been seized as evidence. Instead of being returned to her, in an unusual procedure with evidence, the FBI destroyed the laptop, as well as all evidence that may have been on it, and all records of what they found on it. She replaced John Carlin as a place holder. McCord was complicit in the surveillance of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn and surveillance of Trump Campaign. She left the DOJ on May 11, 2017, a week before Robert Mueller was appointed Special Counsel in the Russia meddling in the 2016 Presidential Election. Q says she was force/retired/fired. Steinbach claims everything was done above board and by the book. A Comey advocate, he testified before the US Senate that Comey was trying to protect the FBI from political influences as was Peter Strzok. Apparently Steinbach is pursuing other employment now. • Midyear Exam FBI Chain of Command: (#1807) Midyear Exam was the working title of the Investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server to store documents, send, and receive emails outside of the secure systems provided by United States Department of State while she was in the position of Secretary of State under President Barack Obama. There were no provisions in Secretary Clinton’s private server, which was, according to reports kept in a closet in a bathroom in a strip mall of a small business service provider, for any data or email archiving as required by Federal law, nor was there any serious security provisions in the means of securing the data, the sending and receiving of the emails. The chain of command information is provided by the Department of Justice Inspector General investigation lead by Michael Horowitz. • Perkins Coie: (#1828) Perkins Coie LLC is an international law firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington, and founded in 1912. It is the oldest and largest law firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest and has a total of 19 offices across the United States and Asia. Perkins handled opposition research for the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign against Candidate Donald Trump. They hired FusionGPS to create a dossier on Trump’s interactions with the Russian Federation. It is likely that Perkins already had in hand the start of a background report written by Christopher Steele working for FusionGPS which had been prepared for The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative on-line news site, prior to the end Republican primaries. Steele was then hired again by FusionGPS to flesh out his original report. Steele created what was to become known as the Steele Dossier for HRC/DNC. Perkins Coie, apparently at the instructions of their clients, HRC/DNC, through FusionGPS and Steele shopped the Dossier to the media, Senator John McCain, foreign and domestic intelligence agencies, and the FBI, anything to get it public attention to derail Trump’s candidacy. • Robby Mook: (#1316, ) Robert E. “Bobby” Mook was a political campaign strategist and campaign manager. He was the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. Mook was the first openly gay manager of a major presidential campaign. In the wake of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Mook drew criticism for his campaign strategy and tactics. She participated in the white washing of the report on the Hillary Clinton email investigation by assuring the report decriminalized Clinton's conduct by changing legal terms and phrases, omitting key information, and minimizing the role of the Intelligence Community in the email investigation to assure that HRC not be indicted. • Washington Free Beacon, The: (#1828) The online conservative news site that first contracted with FusionGPS to do background investigation of Republican Candidate Donald Trump. They dropped the contract after Trump nailed down the Republican presidential candidacy in May. The results of some of that research formed the foundation for start of the FusionGPS’s work that would later grow in the seventeen memos that became the Steele Dossier. • Bruce Ohr: (#1316) Associate Deputy Attorney General – Demoted two levels and now a cooperating witness [power removed]. Husband of Nellie Ohr, employee of Fusion GPS of Steele Dossier notoriety. In a Washington Examiner article on August 3, 2018, it was reported that Bruce Ohr was used as a conduit between the FBI and Christopher Steele, who had been fired as a source for lying about contacts with the media. The FBI has maintained the cut off all contact with Steele due to this misconduct in October 2016, however it has now been show that Ohr, though his wife’s employment at FusionGPS and its employment of Steele, was in contact with Steele and reported his continuing feed of information back to the FBI at least twelve times with FBI form 302s beginning on November 22, 2016, and extending through May 15, 2017, documenting Bruce Ohr’s reporting of Christopher Steele’s data. • Steele. Christopher Steele: (#436) Former(?) British Agent who was the former head of the Russia Desk for British intelligence. He later worked as a independent contractor for FusionGPS, the FBI, and perhaps other agencies. Steele is claimed to have been the principal investigator and/or author of what has become to be known as the “Steele Dossier” which began life supposedly as a background investigation on the candidate Donald Trump, contracted as for the conservative website news organization The Washington Free Beacon, prior to the Republican primary election. After the primary and Donald Trump’s win, on May 3, 2016, The Beacon ceased its funding. The Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC, through the using a law firm, hired FusionGPS to do opposition research on Trump, and FusionGPS in turn hired Steele. The bare bones Beacon report grew into seventeen memos that eventually were compiled into the Steele Dossier. Sometime in June, Steele also shopped the dossier to the FBI, British Intelligence, and various media resources who rejected it as unsourced and not verified. Steele continued attempts to market the dossier, while the FBI picked him up as a paid consultant in their Trump/Russia investigation with a contract requiting no media contact or release of the Trump information he had provided. In October, Steele passed on sixteen of the dossier memos to David Corn of Mother Jones Magazine, who published enough to let the FBI become aware he had broken his agreement and they claim they broke off allure of Steele as a source. Having lied to the FBI his reliability as a source should have precluded the use of any of his material in any FISA Court applications. . . but it did not impact using the Steele Dossier for the purposes in getting a primary FISA Court surveillance warrant on Carter Page and three renewals, all using Steele’s reliability as an honest agent. Not a word was said to the court about his discharge for leaking and lying. • Bill Paxon: (#1849) Leon William “Bill” Paxon is a five term (1989 to 1999) former Republican Congressman representing Buffalo, N.Y., and now lobbyist who is married to former Republican Congresswoman Susan Molinari who represented Staten Island, New York during the same Congressional sessions as he. Paxon held Republlcan leadership positions, was elected to chair the National Republican Congressional Committee in Congress in 1992, and ran for Speaker of the House in 1997. After his political career ended, he joined the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, which is also mentioned by Q in Drop #1849, where, since January 1999, he has advised a wide range of public and private sector clients on policy issues. • John Dowd: (#1849) Jahn Maguire Dowd (77) is an attorney who had been a United States Attorney and also a Marine Corps Judge Advocate General. Dowd has been employed by several Washington, D.C. law firms due to his expertise in white collar crime defense. He has also been a special counsel for Major League Baseball, most notable in the Pete Rose banishment case. Until March 22, 2018, Dowd was the lead defense attorney for President Donald Trump in the Mueller Russia probe. Q links to an article in Drop #1849 from Business Insider with the misleading headline of ”Former Trump attorney John Dowd called Mueller 'terrific' after quitting Trump's legal team”. The article however says that Dowd actually said that his relationship and discussions with Mueller were “terrific” not that Mueller himself was “terrific” as the headline implies. • Lisa Shields: (#1849) Lisa Shields, described since 2011 as a “girlfriend of now former Alphabet/Google CEO/Chairman Eric Schmidt, who is married, is has been and is Vice President, Global Communications and Media Relations for the Council of Foreign Relations since 2003 where she oversees marketing strategy and messaging for all CFR content, including publications, its website, CFR.org, as well as the organization’s magazine, Foreign Affairs, its editor Gideon Rose, and ForeignAffairs.com.. • Melissa Laurenza: (#1849) Melissa L. Laurenza’s practice concentrates on federal and state campaign law, lobbyist registration provisions, gift laws, pay-to-play restrictions, and securities laws regulating political activity as a partner at the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Another attorney practicing there as a lobbyist is Bill Paxon, a five term former Republican Congressman and one time candidate for Speaker of the House. According to a May 23, 2018 CNN article linked in Q’s Drop #1849, the Mueller Special Counsel investigation succeeded in breaking the Attorney/Client privilege to force Laurenza to testify in the Grand Jury and then in petit jury trials against clients Paul Manafort and Rick Gates who has since turned to a government witness against Manafort in exchange for a lesser sentencing. • Susan Molinari: (#1849) Was a five term Republican Congresswoman representing Staten Island, New York, who after leaving office, became first a new anchor on CBS News, and then later became a self-employed lobbyist with her own lobbying, government affairs consulting firm: Susan Molinari Strategies. In March of 2012, Molinari sold her client list to accept a position with Google (now Alphabet) as the company’s Vice-president of Public Policy and Government Relations for the Americas. She manages the company’s policy advocacy and government outreach in North and South America from Google’s Washington, D.C. office. • Perkins Coie: (#1828) Perkins Coie LLC is an international law firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington, and founded in 1912. It is the oldest and largest law firm headquartered in the Pacific Northwest and has a total of 19 offices across the United States and Asia. Perkins handled opposition research for the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign against Candidate Donald Trump. They hired FusionGPS to create a dossier on Trump’s interactions with the Russian Federation. It is likely that Perkins already had in hand the start of a background report written by Christopher Steele working for FusionGPS which had been prepared for The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative on-line news site, prior to the end Republican primaries. Steele was then hired again by FusionGPS to flesh out his original report. Steele created what was to become known as the Steele Dossier for HRC/DNC. Perkins Coie, apparently at the instructions of their clients, HRC/DNC, through FusionGPS and Steele shopped the Dossier to the media, Senator John McCain, foreign and domestic intelligence agencies, and the FBI, anything to get it public attention to derail Trump’s candidacy.
