Freakonomics podcast (which I like, but which I can’t vouch for as being clean) did a series of podcasts about CEOs a while back. I thought a LOT of them were suspect. I’d never heard of Nooyi before that, but she was one of the featured CEOs.

Was Freakonomics being used to “rehab” these CEOs in advance or was it some sort of signal?
They may not be diddlers but suppliers, recruited via the CF. They may also be [boxed in] such that they would be required to look the other way?
