Attorney General Jeff Sessions Issues Statement on DACA Court Order
Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued the following statement on Friday’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) order in the U. S. District Court for the District of Columbia:
"We strongly disagree with the district court’s decision on Friday in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) case. The executive branch’s authority to simply rescind a policy, established only by a letter from the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is clearly established. The Department of Justice will take every lawful measure to vindicate the Department of Homeland Security’s lawful rescission of DACA.
"The last administration violated its duty to enforce our immigration laws by directing and implementing a categorical, multipronged non-enforcement immigration policy for a massive group of illegal aliens. This wrongful action left DACA open to the same legal challenges that effectively invalidated another program they established—Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA). DAPA’s implementation was blocked by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and never entered into effect. These two policies declared by officials of the previous administration—by policy letters only—had been considered by Congress and rejected.
"The Trump Administration’s action to withdraw the policy letters simply reestablished the legal policies consistent with the law. Not only did the Trump Administration have the authority to withdraw this guidance letter, it had a duty to do so. As former President Obama previously said, the changes they attempted to effect through this policy letter can only be lawfully achieved by congressional action. The judicial branch has no power to eviscerate the lawful directives of Congress—nor to enjoin the executive branch from enforcing such mandates.
"We have recently witnessed a number of decisions in which courts have improperly used judicial power to steer, enjoin, modify, and direct executive policy. This ignores the wisdom of our Founders and transfers policy making questions from the constitutionally empowered and politically accountable branches to the judicial branch. It also improperly undermines this Administration’s ability to protect our nation, its borders, and its citizens. The Trump Administration and this Department of Justice will continue to aggressively defend the executive branch's lawful authority and duty to ensure a lawful system of immigration for our country."

My sense is that Q was speaking metaphorically about the the gun, i.e. who was Obama “aiming the gun (weapon) at.”, not an actual photo of shooting a flag.
Obama intended to attack America and it’s values (Red, White, and Blue) and indeed later on proceeded to attack (to quote Obama, “fundamentally transform”) America through the power of his presidency.
Some of us in Fla have tried to raise awareness since 9/11. On our east coast a few of the 9/11 creeps spent a little time while preparing. One group rented a house in a cul de sac briefly. They had a van parked outside with a guard inside 24/7. That is simply NOT natural. The neighbors had to have noticed such strange happenings, yet they never reported anything.
In fairness, our local law enforcement really didn't have the training to understand such things either. Even after our sheriff in this country assigned an officer to counter-terrorism, when he came to our neighborhood to lecture us, he was shocked when I told him this story... he had never considered such a thing, or citizens being on the lookout for such oddities.
I say this to reinforce what Q said: see something, say something. We are living in a different world now. We just can't Leave It To Beaver any longer. We must all step up now, like that concealed carry on that Titusville, Fla park with the school kids this past weekend. We have now seen the enemy.

Reading this now, thanks to your suggestion. The book triggers two memories. The most recent is about Brice Taylor's book Thanks for the Memories .... Taylor describes L.A.-area parties where there would be multiple bowls of different drugs, free for the taking. The second is about my one truly rockstar friend, a member of a major U.S. band and author of '70s songs you'd instantly recognize. Long before I heard of Brice Taylor, this friend described similar parties. At one such party, he made a decision that he says saved his life -- he just dropped out of the rock scene, became a solo artist, and never turned back, except for occasional drop-in visits with his old band.
The friend never mentioned the Satanism that appears in both books, but I will certainly ask him the next time I see him.
Many of these people sold their soul to the Devil, and it appears that many were pleased if not happy with the bargain.
Recall too that Feinswein and husband were heavily involved in the Desert Wilderness Protection Act which ties up a bunch of resources, some of which were subsequently cornered markets of the Chinese.

FCC admits it was never actually hacked
The FCC has come clean on the fact that a purported hack of its comment system last year never actually took place, after a report from its inspector general found a lack of evidence supporting the idea. Chairman Ajit Pai blamed the former chief information officer and the Obama administration for providing “inaccurate information about this incident to me, my office, Congress, and the American people.”
Re the plane crash in Santa Ana:
Four Bay Area residents and a Los Angeles man were identified Monday, Aug. 6, as the five who were killed when a plane crashed the day before into the parking lot of a Santa Ana shopping center.
The pilot was Scott Shepherd, 53, of Diablo, Ca., the Orange County coroner’s office said, and the passengers were: Lara Shepherd, 42, of Diablo; Floria Hakimi, 62, of Danville; Navid Hakimi, 32, of Los Angeles; and Nasim Ghanadan, 29, of Alamo.
The Shepherds were married and had two children. Navid Hakimi was Floria Hakimi’s son, according to social-media posts.
All five worked for Pacific Union International, a real estate brokerage company with offices in Danville and Southern California, a company spokesman said.

San Francisco DJ, producer and vocalist Navid Izadi died in a plane crash on Sunday. He was 32. Born Navid Hakimi, the artist was a member of the Wolf + Lamb and Soul Clap musical collectives.
The purpose of their trip was to participate in a real estate industry conference called the Tom Ferry Success Summit at the Anaheim Convention Center, according to Mark McLaughlin, CEO of Pacific Union International.
The Hakimis and Ghanadan were members of the Bay Area’s Persian community.
Floria Hakimi was a founder of the Persian Center in Berkeley, which aims to strengthen Persian identity through social and cultural activities that are shared with anyone who is interested. She gave $5,000 to the center when it started and helped create the center’s vision, said Shahin Tabrizi, the Persian Center’s president.
The plane had flown from the East Bay suburb of Concord, according to Federal Aviation Administration records.
So, my question is: was Nazim Hakini a real estate agent, a DJ, or both?
I saw the photo. It’s a photo of Air Canada and doesn’t look at all like it’s threatening 9/11.
