They probably accidentally overbooked and gave preferential treatment to the higher priority flyer. The odds of it having anything to do with sexual partners is probably less than 1% A couple of men were bumped so a married couple could sit together. There fixed the headlines. Why is this news? My wife and I were bumped to separate seats once, so a newlywed couple could sit together.. we HAD MARRIAGE SENIORITY ! but there was no complaint filed. We didn't even get an extra tiny bag of peanuts for our troubles..

When gay businessman David Cooley boarded Alaska Airlines flight 1407 from Los Angeles to New York this past weekend, he expected to enjoy the airline's top-rated service and the amenities that accompanied his Premium Class ticket. Instead, however, he said he and his travel companion were subjected to "humiliation" instead. Whenever any member of one the Protected groups gets treated like any normal person they are being subjected to "humiliation”.
If they are not coddled treated as special and protected they are being discriminated against.
