They probably accidentally overbooked and gave preferential treatment to the higher priority flyer. The odds of it having anything to do with sexual partners is probably less than 1%.

Tell me about it. And BTW, you notice how the media keeps promoting racist attacks by whites against non-whites? Every day, EVERY single day, I read about a new story in the media yet you never ever ever ever see a story of blacks or any other race doing the same thing. Considering the number of gay flight attendants they have, I would call BS on this story.
Alaska Airlines confirmed to Fox News that the couple had been moved from Premium Class to the main cabin, but said it was because of a seating mistake.
“When boarding flight 1407 from JFK to LAX, a couple was mistakenly assigned the same seats as another couple in Premium Class. We reseated one of the guests from Premium class in the main cabin. We are deeply sorry for the situation, and are investigating the details while communicating directly with the guests involved to try and make this right. Alaska Airlines has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind, and our employees value inclusion for our guests and each other.”

Probably got bumped because one of the gay male flight attendants had developed a crush on one of them, saw that he already had a sodom-mate, and got bitchy and kicked them both.

In a post on Facebook yesterday, Cooley called for a boycott of Alaska Airlines after a
flight attendant insisted Cooley’s traveling companion give up the premium class seat to
accommodate a heterosexual couple.

Possibly. I have witnessed prissy male (I think) attendant behavior. This could have been just a case of standard airline protocol to ensure rudeness and unpleasantness to as many customers as possible.
I’ll bet that’s just what’s going on here. The “companion” had a coach ticket and was allowed to sit in premium class until the premium seat sold.
