If it keeps Cindy McCain from being named in his place, that’s ok. Better he should give up the seat involuntarily and let Ducey pick the replacement without a deal.

I think a phone call from Trump to Ducey reminding him about Blogojevich would be in order. That might help keep him honest. Picking Cindy should at a minimum result in an investigation looking into what favors were offered to Ducey in exchange.
