He seems to be saying that the German people’s rejection of open borders may well cause Mutti Merkel to be strapped into her rocking chair for a well-deserved rest. Further, if her coalition fails, then ultimately so does the globalist, multi-cultural project known as the Europe Union.
Perhaps it’s too early to break out the champagne, but certainly, it’s time to order a bottle before supplies run out. Or maybe some Rhine wine would be more appropriate? Or, if you don’t imbibe, at least have some sauerkraut; it’s also fermented.

My belief is it will consolidate into 10 major nations and some kind of lesser group of other nations that have cooperative agreements with the EU.

Scripture refers to a Kingdom in the future that is a reconstituted Roman Kingdom, comprised of 10 smaller kings.
These kings will turn against Israel in the future - leading to the great and final battle of Armageddon.
I wondered what could cause them to do this... before the Muslim invasion into Europe. I can now see the hatred that will dominate and lead to an attack in Israel.
Between now and then, the EU has to lose 18 members to get down to 10, for things to mesh with this view of prophecy.

The dream of the 20th Century Communist was a unified Europe as a start towards a unified World Government. The 3 little nations of Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg banded together to form Benelux and the EU was beginning to take shape. Benelux did a lot of good to provide transportation for commerce. And now Belgium (probably misspelled) is the seat of unelected power in the EU. Too much government is bad for self-determination.
